Email, text or call me to arrange a complimentary 20 minute chat. In this conversation I’ll ask you a little bit more about what you are looking to work on and I’ll explain more about how I work. You can ask any questions. From there we can decide if we’d be a good fit to work together.
If we agree to work together we can book in our first session during that phone call.
How many sessions do you recommend?
I usually contract for a block of 6 weekly sessions, each lasting an hour. In this time, we can work out together if more would be useful or if that’s been enough.
How much do you charge?
My charge is £40 per session for in person, outdoor or online therapy.
What days and times do you work?
I see clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am till 7pm.
I’d like outdoor counselling, but I don’t live near Inverness. Do you work in other places?
I’m only able to offer outdoor counselling in the Inverness area. I’m currently researching doing outdoor therapy by Zoom at present. If you are interested in this please let me know.
I also work as a life coach and you can find out more about Women’s Treks for Wellbeing that I run with a mountain guide in the summer here. (We are fully booked for summer 2021 but you can email Trek Scotland if you’d like to go on a waiting list. We may put more treks on if enough demand).
Do I need to be fit to do outdoor counselling?
We will walk at a gentle pace – the work is very much about therapy rather than going up hills or getting a work out! If you have any health condition that would make working outdoors risky for you please let me know in the assessment and we can explore this together.
What do I need to bring to an outdoor counselling session?
Please wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in and enough layers to keep you warm. In winter hat and gloves are recommended. You don’t need to bring anything else.
